Lauren Woo is a Graduate Research Assistant in the Mary Lou Fulton College for Teaching and Learning Innovation at Arizona State University. She earned her Ph.D. in Learning, Literacies and Technologies in 2025. 

Her research aims to prepare educational stakeholders for technological changes, with a focus on the continued growth of online education and the dispersion of generative artificial intelligence tools. For her dissertation study titled A Systematic Reexamination of Field Experiences in PK-12 Online Environments in the United States, she described the current state of online field experiences and provided evidence-based insights to strengthen preparation for online teaching across teacher education programs. 

Lauren has published journal articles and book chapters to support both scholars and practitioners. Her work has appeared in the Journal of Research on Technology in Education, TechTrends, Journal of Online Learning Research, and Teachers College Record. For her work, she received the 2023 Graduate Student Qualitative Research Award and the 2024 Graduate Student Empirical Journal Article Award from the Association for Educational Communications and Technology.
